Thank you for becoming part of our family here at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Morgan Park. We're so elated to have you. We encourage you to dive into our website. Our Media Team has provided a plethora of information about our church, including what opportunities of ministry are available here at New Hope. 'GOT QUESTIONS?'
'What to expect when I come to worship?'
Expect vibrant, energetic praise, coupled with dynamic, life-changing worship encounters. Most of all, be ready to dig into the Word of God. All teaching and preaching is strictly bible-based and applied to real-life circumstances.
'How long is service?'
The pandemic has taught us that worship can still be impactful and effective without unnecessary fillers. Praise and Worship, Devotion, Choir Selection, and the Word runs us 90 minutes on average.
'How should I dress?'
We believe that when we come to worship, we give God our best, even in our attire. Is it mandatory that you're dressed to impress? Of course not. We simply require modest, appropriate apparel for both men and women.
'What about the kids?!'
We have a fantastic Children's Ministry co-led by Sis. Babette King, Lady Wanda Beckham, and Sis. O'Shea Bray. We also have a phenomenal Youth and Young Adults Department co-led by Sis. Ciara Beckham and Minister Nicholas King. Both ministries work tirelessly to ensure our young people are incorporated in every avenue of the church. There are many opportunities for our youth to not only put their gifts to use, but to socialize and connect with other Christian youth in their age group.
