COME TO CHRIST
Before becoming an official member of our New Hope Family, we want to ensure you are part of the Kingdom of God. We want to be sure you are ‘saved.’ The Bible proclaims that one can receive salvation based on Romans 10:9, "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Before uniting in fellowship with any bible believing Church, whether it be this church or another, receive Jesus into your heart. Don’t know how? No problem. The Romans Road to Salvation outlines the biblical steps one must follow to come to know Jesus.

PRAYER OF SALVATION:
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner standing in need of salvation. I repent of my sins. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, becoming the Sacrificial lamb, granting salvation to all those who would believe. I believe on the third day you rose from the dead. Live in me through your Holy Spirit. I give you full control of my life. I place my trust, hope and confidence in you. I accept your free gift of salvation. According to my faith in you, I AM NOW SAVED!
The next step in affirming your faith, is by being baptized in water by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19-20 and Romans 6:3-4) The purpose of water baptism is to give public testimony (outward expression) of a transformation that has already occurred within you by the Holy Spirit. If you are in the Chicagoland area, please reach out to us at New Hope, and upon profession of faith, we will receive you as a candidate for baptism.
